Comments: A small but very famous temple. While being dismantled to be moved above the rising waters of Lake Nasser, it was discovered that parts of this temple were constructed from the remains of an even older one. The print shows a sketch date of Nov. 14, 1836, obviously an error by the lithographers, as Roberts did not begin his journey until 1838.
